Jack Miller is set to join Prima Pramac for the 2025 MotoGP season, where he’ll be riding a Yamaha YZR-M1 for the first time in his career after stints with Honda, Ducati, and KTM.
Cal Crutchlow, Yamaha’s test rider, is known for his close relationship with Miller. Did Miller reach out to the outspoken Brit for advice?
The #43, who will team up with Miguel Oliveira, denied having done so and humorously pointed out Crutchlow’s tendency to exaggerate:
– Cal is a bad person to talk to, because if you know Cal, you know the fact that he loves to exaggerate sometimes, either be good or bad. I’ve been in touch with Fabio [Quartararo] and Álex [Rins], and those boys. Of course, Cal has got a great experience on the M1, and you take what he says with a grain of salt. It’s better to ask Lucy [Crutchlow’s wife] what he thinks of the Yamaha, because I think she is the only one who really gets the full truth.
