Pedro Acosta is set to transition from Red Bull GasGas Tech3 to Red Bull KTM for the 2025 MotoGP season. Despite the close relationship between the two teams, the change will be significant.

The Spanish rider, who debuted in the premier class this year, will work with a team featuring many new members—a process of adaptation that begins this Tuesday during the testing day in Barcelona.

Following yesterday’s race at the same circuit, Acosta revealed that only his crew chief, Paul Trevathan, and two other team members will continue with him, while the rest of the crew will be new:

– I have the same crew chief, and two more guys. All the engineers are new, from KTM. We have the three guys who sit next to me. So these three mechanics on the bike will change, the tyre guy will change, the engineers for gearbox and everything will change. For this, we will change many things.
