The Moto Guzzi V7 Sport emerges as a landmark in the history of the legendary Italian brand, combining classical character with modern technologies. At the heart of this model lies the most powerful and efficient engine ever produced for the V7 line. With a displacement of 853 cc, this transversal 90-degree V-twin, air-cooled engine, maintains the iconic architecture created by engineer Giulio Cesare Carcano in 1967. More than just an engine, it is a design piece that transcends time, incorporating the soul of Moto Guzzi.

Engine: Tradition and Evolution

The V7 Sport’s engine meets the latest Euro 5+ standards, offering enhanced performance. Maximum power has increased to 67.3 hp at 6,900 rpm, while torque has grown to 79 Nm at 4,400 rpm, with 95% of torque available from 3,500 rpm. This increase translates into smoother and more flexible riding, especially in low and medium ranges, ideal for both daily use and more sporty riding.

Among the innovations, the Ride-by-Wire system stands out, replacing the cable throttle with a more precise electronic engine management.

This system introduces three riding modes: road, for balanced use, rain, for adverse conditions, and sport, developed specifically to explore the dynamic character of the V7 Sport.

Performance is further enhanced by technical improvements, such as a 27% increase in air box volume and an optimized piston cooling system. The exhaust has been adjusted to ensure a more linear torque delivery, while the introduction of a third lambda sensor ensures compliance with environmental standards without compromising performance.

Chassis and Comfort: A Refined Riding Experience

Moto Guzzi is renowned for chassis design excellence, and the V7 Sport is no exception. The double-cradle steel frame maintains the perfect balance between robustness and agility, complemented by ergonomics that favor comfort for riders of all sizes.

In this Sport version, the chassis has been enhanced with an inverted front suspension (USD forks), which improves cornering behavior and dynamic riding stability. The braking system has also received a significant upgrade: two 320 mm floating discs at the front, combined with radial-mounted Brembo monoblock calipers, offer powerful and consistent braking capacity.

Design: A Modern Classic

The V7 Sport stands out for its attention to detail and homage to its legacy. Aluminum headlight mounts, rearview mirrors at the handlebar ends, and a black seat with red stitching reinforce its sporty and elegant visual appeal. Six-spoke wheels, with an updated design, add a contemporary touch.

Available in two iconic colors – Verde Legnano, which references the first V7 Sport, and Grigio Lario, in a pastel finish – this motorcycle is a celebration of Italian style.
