Tony Cairoli is returning to the MXGP Motocross World Championship, with Ducati making its debut in the series on August 17 and 18 at the MXGP of the Netherlands in Arnhem – marking a wildcard entry.
The Borgo Panigale manufacturer began its motocross project last year and is developing its bike this year by participating in the Italian championship, where they are currently in the title fight with Alessandro Lupino leading at the moment.
Cairoli’s participation in Arnhem is another significant milestone for Ducati, which will be showcasing the Desmo450 against the competition they will face in MXGP in 2025.
However, the work does not stop there. After the MXGP of the Netherlands, Ducati will refocus on the Italian championship, with the Castiglione del Lago round scheduled for August 31 and September 1.
