Francesco Bagnaia demonstrated his dominance in the Lenovo Race of Champions in Misano, a showcase event featuring 15 Ducati riders from MotoGP, World Superbike, and the British Superbike Championship (BSB) riding the same bike: the new Panigale V4. As the current leader of the MotoGP World Championship, Bagnaia made it clear he was the class of the field.

From the start, Andrea Iannone (Team GoEleven, WSBK) failed to capitalize on his pole position and was quickly overtaken by Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo, MotoGP) and Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it, WSBK). Iannone managed to recover to second place on the opening lap, but Bagnaia consolidated his lead.

Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac, MotoGP) had a challenging first lap, falling to the back of the pack after two off-track excursions. Meanwhile, Marc Márquez (Gresini, MotoGP) made notable progress, moving from sixth to fourth place.

At the front, Bagnaia managed to build a small lead, but was under constant pressure from Iannone and Bulega. With three laps to go, the top two were separated by less than a second, leaving the race open.

However, on the penultimate lap, Bagnaia managed to break away from Iannone, securing the victory. Iannone held on to second place, finishing 1.462s behind Bagnaia. Bulega and Márquez battled for the final podium position, but a controversial incident occurred on the last corner. Bulega and Márquez may have made contact, causing Bulega to crash and allowing Márquez to claim the last podium spot.

Marco Bezzecchi and his VR46 teammate Fabio Di Giannantonio rounded out the top five. Martín managed to recover to ninth place, while double Superbike World Champion Álvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Ducati) finished in 12th.
