This Sunday, MotoGP is set to reveal its new visual identity. However, ahead of the official unveiling during the awards ceremony, the potential new logo may have already been leaked.
Recent trademark filings at the European Union Intellectual Property Office show logos for MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, and MotoE registered in recent days by the legal representative Leggroup – also linked to documentation for the current logos.
While only one logo has been registered for the other categories, MotoGP has two submitted designs, one noticeably simpler than the other, as seen in the main image of this article.
Later today, Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke will officially present the new MotoGP logo and visual identity, designed by the Pentagram agency, during the awards gala at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya in Barcelona, scheduled for 19:30 (CET).
