So far, Arón Canet is ruling the Moto2 Solidarity GP of Barcelona. This morning, the rider topped Practice 2, making a clean sweep of the practice sessions.

After the first flying laps, Manuel González (Gresini/Kalex) was in the lead but was soon overtaken by Zonta van den Goorbergh. The Dutchman from RW-Idrofoglia Racing GP held the top spot for nearly 20 minutes.

He was eventually surpassed by Jorge Navarro (OnlyFans American Racing Team/Kalex), who briefly lost the lead to the champion Ai Ogura (MT Helmets-MSi/Boscoscuro) before reclaiming it.

Just two minutes later, Canet (Fantic Racing/Kalex) delivered a 1m42.262s lap that remained unbeaten. Navarro ended the session 0.154s behind, with Jake Dixon (CFMOTO Inde Aspar/Kalex) third at 0.233s. Ogura and González rounded out the top five.

Nearly all riders improved their times compared to yesterday’s Practice 1. In the combined standings, Marcos Ramírez (OnlyFans American Racing Team/Kalex) secured the 14th spot, claiming the final direct qualification spot for Q2. He edged out Deniz Öncü (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP/Kalex) in 15th by just 0.085s.
