After three seasons, Aruba.it Ducati will be leaving the World Supersport Championship – despite the successes it has achieved, including Nicolò Bulega’s 2023 title and Adrián Huertas on track to become champion this year.

According to the GPOne.com website, Stefano Cecconi’s team has chosen to focus all its attention on the Superbike World Championship (WSBK), where it lost its supremacy this year to Toprak Razgatlioglu and ROKiT BMW.

However, this doesn’t mark the end of the team’s presence in WSSP, as it is expected to continue through Daniele Casolari’s Feel Racing – currently collaborating on the Aruba.it Ducati project and thus potentially running a team under its own name.

The Barni Spark Racing Team is also leaving WSSP, with Marco Barnabò opting to enter a second bike in WSBK. The spot is likely to be filled by Ludek Weag’s Wepol team, which currently competes with Triumph bikes and is planning to switch to Ducati.
