The Yamaha Neo’s Dual Battery is an electric scooter, ideal for urban commuting. At the same time, it is environmentally friendly, producing no noise or the inevitable emissions of combustion engines.

The scooter features two portable 50.4 V/19.2 Ah lithium-ion batteries, which can be charged either while installed or removed for charging at home or in the office. They are easy to remove, and the scooter has a range of approximately 68 km.

The electric motor is mounted on the direct-drive hub, and the Neo’s Dual Battery is equipped with the latest-generation of the Yamaha Integrated Power Unit (YIPU). It offers quick acceleration and smooth power delivery, with a maximum power output of 2.5 kW and 136 Nm of torque.

The frame is built with a lower tubular structure. The suspension features a telescopic fork at the front and a swingarm-mounted shock absorber at the rear. The braking system includes a hydraulic disc on the front wheel and a mechanical drum on the rear wheel.

The riding position has been designed to suit riders of all ages, sizes, and experience levels. There are also two driving modes: STD, for higher power on the road, and ECO, which is more economical and suitable for longer trips.

The design draws inspiration from the original combustion-powered Neo’s, with smooth lines on the fairing and compact dimensions. The foot platform is spacious. Onboard, there is an LCD instrument panel that can be connected to a smartphone via the MyRide app, allowing access to calls, messages, and scooter information. The lighting is entirely LED, and it features a Smart Key system.
